Your first monthly savings will show on your electricity bills from the end of April.
So that's May then. Pity.

I wonder is there will be a flurry of sales activity for the 2nd site after tonight's announcements?

I hope so Moxi, they've done a great thing and made a huge effort against the status quo. Personally, I think Sarah's a bit of a hero for this. Lots just talk, she did it too!

Seeing the generation widget tomorrow will complete the circle

Trouble is now I want the second farm to be built ASAP

Moxi
No worries, will do. I think they'll bring the 8 on one at a time and the slivers of generation will increase as each is comm'd.

Point being that your wait may be shorter especially with lessons learned and implemented from WT1.

I phoned my 92 year old father earlier to tell him his wind turbine is now operating.

He didn't have a clue what I was talking about,

Until I mentioned "the 4 grand you spent on the windmill".

He was even more happier when I told him he gets his first rebate at the end of April.

...which will show on his May bill and might not allow him to reduce his direct debit until June.
(Pessimists are happily surprised, optimists are doomed to be disappointed!)
Glad it will be put on the website, there must be quite a few of us fossils not on social media...

Nice one Nowty! Going to have to ignore AE tonight. Reads like his chips have been pissed on. Not the vibe I'm feeling at all. Roll on 19.00hrs, lets see that bad boy crank, woohoo!!! :)
