What small scale solutions will bounce back into play now that we are where we are in europe (march 2022 ukraine war)

I looked for the couple for threads pertaining to "plug in solar" to read again the legality problems facing it for the likes of flats but no luck.
Can you see mass scale small deployment for flats & solar on the roof-spaces being requisitioned for ongoing power leveling & building up oil / gas reserves for "off season" (does this mean council sparkies will make a comeback)

I'm hoping there will be some more restrictions lifted off small scale residential solar as a result, fast tracked (last month, not dragging heels into 2023)

Councils to look at solar shading to reduce peak heat within pre-existing housing stock, as solar canopies along the many rows of semi's we have in the uk & fast track applications with minimal cost to the householder to match the potential of balcony solar on flats with council spods (trained) to identify good solar aspects & do more than the "leaflet invite to blind buy as a group" solar installs which is contemptible double glazing selling shite that is seemingly justified by the council getting a cut imho.

How the reluctant power companies will respond to this we already know, but they cannot deny it is necessary & work they've protested as too costly then is going to cost them far more now to pad out & protect supply.

Surely in any other industry a housing estate supply substation specced 50+ years ago is machinery surely due an upgrade?

BTW Who in government is actually thumping their fist on tables for increased renewables & sensible legislation, I have not yet recognised one to be a true advocate for renewables or is that political suicide?
