A bit of info..looks good. Looks like they've robbed all the best bits of current ev's ( no bad thing) and combined into one package.

Great news for the Sunderland plant. :xl:

Its a bit of a shame it's turning into yet another CUV, but I guess that's what sells...

Under the skin it's actually sitting on the same platform as the Ariya, so therefore related to the Renault Megane and Scenic EVs...

And I think the Nissan Micra is closely related to the Renault 5. So the companies are still working together.

Yes - the Nissan-Renault (and Mitsubishi!) EV alliance has built this new shared architecture platform called "AmpR".

The large version of it has the Aryia/Megane
The "AmpR Small" is the Micra/ Renault 4/5/Twingo

I appreciate smaller/lighter cars are more efficient

But I keep seeing people here pushing for small EV... when if you want an EV with longer range you have to go bigger - a car twice the size has space for more than twice the battery, so the battery to size/weight/efficiency ratio is better

appreciate... lots of people don't need the longer range.... but they do want longer range

slightly off topic... but I've been thinking about getting an EV and this really winds me up :-o
