As an afterthought- Storm Arwen blows thru, I've got the I5. Fintrays (closest Cameloter to me) power goes tits up. 'Joe can you run my freezer for a couple of hours, I don't want the foie gras to defrost'. Easy, on my way.. That scenario or similar could be repeatable 100,000's of times over across the planet when people need it if not for Elons selfishness. How does that attitude help the world in general?
I'll maybe hold you to that should my dirty diesel Lister generator fail to fire up after its 25 year hibernation!

Well that's the model Y order cancelled and a 78kWh 300 bhp ultimate Ioniq 5 ordered instead.
Ah well that's my viewing of the model Y gone however the E-Tron looks good.
It's not an Audi, have you seen how they are driven these days?

In prep for the I5 and general upgrade to speed of charging with any EV I have had a quote for a 7.4kWh Type 2 charge point at the house. Couple of things, Nice one on the 2 grants and I've also found out that I'm on a 60A fuse as i'm a split line sharing with a neighbor (who ever knew, not me). Also been told that the newly installed tails on the newly installed smart meter (still not on Go you know) will have to be changed too. On the upside i'll be 100A hopefully and at the same time a neat segway into Octopus Go Faster...
Eventually this is all going to be worth it and i'll have that perfect moment, just not yet...

I'd go for a Zappi if I were you. Great for limiting your max power usage and for using excess solar. Can also integrate with the diverter on your DHW tank (if you buy a Harvi).
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger
(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Thanks, all that's taken care of. I dont want units to fight for pole position so requested a dumber unit where I can set its charge rate via app. The goodwe and iboost do the rest together on auto..
