I use CF39 8DJ in my weather app. It appears closer to reality than the Cardiff Airport weather forecast. Wish it wasn't but thems the breaks!

Are you saying that the Ripple forecast is based on the airport predictions then?

Not at all. I just find that the post code forecast seems more accurate and inline with Ripples own. If anything I think the airport forecast gives false hope.

The location for weather data, at least from the Met Office, seems to be a bit variable. If I use the nearest Met Office location to us then the data is invariably wrong, often by a fair bit. If I used the data for Teffont Magna (about 10 miles or so away) then it's pretty much spot on. I've never worked out why this is. I pull the weather data from the Met Office API into Home Assistant, to give two forecast displays, one for three hour intervals today, the other for the next four days, and the odd thing with doing that is that the data pulled using the Met Office API doesn't actually match the Met Office web site for the same location. All a bit odd, no idea why there are such disparities.

It was very high output yesterday from early afternoon (averaged 50% all day), been high all day today, should be high all day tomorrow and 50%+ the day after.

Maybe only 3 or 4 days after all.

Up to midnight last night CF for Nov have been 47%, by the end of the week it could be over 50% and the average for Nov is 42%.

Got our energy "bill" for October from Octopus a couple of days ago. Turns out our share of WT1 generation covered that with 12p to spare. :D
While it includes EV charging at home, costs for charging when away were not included.
