Extra cooling

Post by Joeboy »

Little auto system wasn't keeping up today, up to 42 degs instead of pulling it all down to 35degs.
So I brought out a big gun! Hope you have cooling solutions in place?

A very comfy 21.9 degrees C here with the doors and windows closed, benefitting from cooling Westerlies outside and a large thermal mass that is sat around 18 degrees inside.

I was going to break out the aircon unit today ready for the weekend but the week ahead forecast has changed from delightful to pants in less than 10 hours

KIds swimming pool will no doubt be being drained down tomorrow and packed away again, at least the veg plots will get a good long drink from that activity.

Didn’t realise how good a job mine was doing ‘till I went outside!

Shame it “costs” 15p/kWh to run…
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Ah well, we beg to differ

Love the warm, dry, still weather. Open up the house - approx 11m of doors to open.

Just love the inside:outside living vibe

Downstairs currently at 25o

Living outside in the evening/nightime :xl:

I’m with you there Bugtownboy, 25 degrees is our perfect temp all year round. We don’t put the air con on until it reaches 28 degrees.
