Search options

I am planning my battery rack and (to pinch people's ideas) wanted to search the threads to pick out posts with pictures...
I can't see how to do it! Is it possible to search for (e.g.) "Pylon" posts which have a picture attached?
Thanks

The problem is that people link to posts so you are better off searching for multiple terms including image hosts.
Solar PV: 6.4kW solar PV (Eurener MEPV 400W*16)
PV Inverter: Solis 6kW inverter
Batteries: 14.4kWh LiFePO4 batteries (Pylontech US5000*3)
Battery Inverter: LuxPowertek 3600 ACS*2
EV: Hyundai Kona 65kWh
WBS: 8kW Hunter Avalon 6 Multifuel burner (wood only)

Just played around to see if there was an easy way to do this and I can't find one. The best way to find specific words in posts here is to use

Code: Select all

site:https://camelot-forum.co.uk
after the term in a search engine (works in DuckDuckGo, not sure about others). I tried doing that with the image search option selected and it didn't give any results, though, perhaps because images here aren't hosted on the forum domain, but are on an image hosting site.

If it's any help, the rack I made from 2020 extrusion to hold six US3000C battery packs looks like this (it would be better made from 3030, though):

Image
25 off 250W Perlight solar panels, installed 2014, with a 6kW PowerOne inverter, about 6,000kWh/year generated
6 off Pylontech US3000C batteries, with a Sofar ME3000SP inverter

What do you have in your spare wood pile?

I’m not sure you should admit to buying materials to make a battery rack round these parts. ;-)
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Who said I was? As it will be hung from the floor joists of the room above (joists about 3 1/2" by 9" from memory) I was thinking of "Dexion"-type stuff.
I have quite a bit of it but it's a lot over-size and a bit rusty, having supported our gas flue pipe from the chimney breast to the ridge in the loft for about 25 years until we had the chimney stack rebuilt, and been left up there ever since. (and it was second-hand from our local scrappie when I got it in the first place.)
I was thinking that I might buy something like https://expresswirerope.com/punched-ang ... 9mEALw_wcB
but wouldn't rule out checking our scrappie first.
This has moved on and should probably be in a different forum, but hey-ho!
I'll start again in another one...
(And thanks for people's suggestions about searching.)
