Apologies if it seems insensitive given the recent debacle but I'm still keen to assist in the build out of new Wind and Solar farms etc so will be given it serious consideration. At least Thrive have a thirty year history in the industry so have reasonable confidence it will now go ahead as planned.
Ironically they are seeking to raise less than the total raised by Ripple for it!
Wouldn't it be great if the funds of Coop 4 could simply be transferred over to them....... or not, depending on your view.

Whitelaw Brae - New owners raising funding.
Re: Whitelaw Brae - New owners raising funding.
Its not the same as the Ripple offerings where you bought a Coop which owned a specific project. Your adding to the already many Thrive energy shares which already exist as non quoted equity shares. Its more similar to buying equity in Ripple Energy directly in which you would have lost everything.
Its slightly different to Ripple Energy though as Thrive energy actually own the projects but they are not raising funds in this offer to specifically fund the whole of WB. They will sell several tranches as their projects require funding.
Their target return of 5-8% per year is "through a combination of dividends and share price appreciation." As they are non quoted, selling will be difficult.
So you may not get a reasonable return in dividends alone, its a reasonable investment but not for the faint hearted.
