When they go wrong

Was driving from Rennes to somewhere 😂 and spotted the below, looks like it was very recent as it looked like engineers were on site and there was a clean up crew in the farmers field picking up leftovers.

Not the greatest of pictures but you can see burnt top blade.

16 250w Trina panels
2 Sunsynk 5.5kw ecco
3 x Chinese 125Ah (19Kwh total) batteries
6 x 535w installed, 6 to replacing the 16 250w and another 4 to somewhere :D
3 more 125Ah batteries on their way from China

A wind turbine (one of three 1.3MW) very near me caught fire back in January:-

But it was quite an old one. This article says a 25yr lease was arranged in 1995 and it started producing in 2002 - which seems like quite a long gap to me.

450W hydro-electric
5110W pv
1.3kw Wt2 - not yet producing
6kWh lead acid - maybe 1kwh useable
LiMnCo battery made from 2nd hand hybrid car modules 3.6kwh nominal 24v.
300lt hot water tank and two storage heaters
ASHP Grant Aerona 3 10.5kw and UFH
