medication blister packs.. hard / soft plastic?

Blister packs from medication, (a lot of chemists have a drop off, linked to terracycle) ..something that confuses me , possibly you too as a multi material plastic.

Aldi rolling out "non home recyclables" (soft plastic) bins recently made me wonder the classification & whether it would be " wish-recycling" or finally a widespread opportunity to recycle traditionally "awkward" material that tends to get land filled.

Still none the wiser as to category & acceptance, so reluctant to include it in the RT-Shops accumulation, what do others know / do!?
