Belgium was due to switch off all its nuclear reactors by the end of 2025. But their parliament has voted decisively to reverse that policy. Instead, Belgium will now double its nuclear capacity from 4 to 8 GW, extending lifetimes for existing ones and constructing several new ones.

A non-event, surely? They had already put back the date for nuclear closure to 2032 (that was three years ago). Possibly building new nuclear is a different matter - if it were to take as long as hinkley C, it may never happen in our lifetimes (well , for a lot of us!).
