The description of this section of the forum is "Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?" But the only things I see posted are news stories.

Is this the right place for me to post about environmental/ecological publications?

The Ecological Citizen (https://www.ecologicalcitizen.net) is an independent, peer-reviewed, free-to-access journal that provides a forum for inspiring and mobilizing discussion with an Earth-centred perspective. Content is published online and grouped into issues on an approximately twice-yearly basis.
The publication has no financial affiliations, no publication charges and no article access fees.

This publication is a project of The Eceocentric Alliance, an international by invitation/recommendation group of environmental activists, academics, artists, poets, etc. with most of the people involved falling into more than one of those categories. In terms of appearance, as pretty in art work and poetry as the print/on-line publication Orion but the articles much longer and written to academic standards. In other words, might just look at to see the pretty even if only wanting to read some of the articles. Which will not be about religion. While you can see the current issue as well as archive of all past issues, somewhat unusual, you can see portions of the next issue as it is being assembled.

Full disclosure here, Penny and I are both members of The Ecocentric Alliance.

Mother Pelican (https://pelicanweb.org) is a monthly on-line publication edited by Luis T. Gutiérrez (a member of The Ecocentric Alliance)

The mission of this web site is to collect and curate emerging research on global social/environmental justice issues, with special focus on fostering human development, social justice, and ecological sustainability; and to publish a monthly update of selected articles and supporting data via the Mother Pelican Journal of Solidarity and Sustainability.

Not pretty with artwork/poetry like The Ecological Citizen and the articles much shorter, and not to the same academic publishing standard. Also, perhaps 10% of the articles might be political and 5% religious. But each month has a theme/focus so you can right up front see if you might want to skip that issue. For example March 2025 is "MAGA ~ The Climax of Patriarchal Civilization" so you know many of the articles in that issue will be political. However, almost always less than half the articles have anything to do with the theme/focus so you could just skip by article title instead of the entire issue. Again, there is an archive letting you see all back issues.
