Well you can shake a stick at it of course. But either way, more BESS on the UK Grid is a good thing.

This stands to undermine our ToU tariffs, and SS, and Power Hours.

Well yes and no - big BESS also provides other services to the Grid which domestic users can't, and as we continue to increase the amount of variable generation on the Grid, the scale of the excess supply, or excess demands, will likely get bigger. So there will still be a need for consumer-side response too.
