What they don't mention is the disruption is little more than if we were running a new trunk main for water supplies and in two years time if they fly a drone over the site they will barely be able to see where the cable corridor ran.
Its quite breath-taking how the reporting is skewed to the typical readers "prejudices" isn't it. Whatever happened to reporting it straight and letting the reader determine their own views and stance ?

I think there's a common consensus here that they didn't have a story in the first place
fills ten minutes reading it and then wondering how the daily fail manages to keep going.

That's funny, reminds me of their 2013 attack on a PV farm, claiming it blighted the view (from a helicopter), whilst making sure their photo's didn't show the oil refinery about 0.5m to the north. I think the term is 'same shit, different depth'.
