Happened in the early hours, IOG incentive overload perhaps. :whistle:

Seriously though, bit suspicious both happened around the same time on low overnight loading. :?

UK Power Networks said the substation remained operational and there had been no interruption to the electricity supply.
Really? Maybe it was just a tank of transformer oil out the back which caught fire then!

could they be switching the network so that they can work on one or more, while a nearby station feeds extra areas?
