KSM contacted me this morning. Front door is going in on Monday, that's one day earlier start than we agreed for phase 2 3g start :)

I guess they want to do everything to try and close out the job by Friday to get paid! :D

They also have control of the remaining glazing units including the feisty trapezoidals.

These already fitted top hinged 3g windows are definitely superior air catchers compared to the inward opening tilt & turn fitted previously.

Makes sense with hindsight but not obvious when we mostly think about keeping heat in. Worth remembering if any of you are doing a glazing upgrade?

This ashp and triple glazing has been an excellent way to deploy some of our 25% taxfree pension money as has the simplicity of the electric blinds. Doesn't seem much in the greater scheme of things but the blinds have had a net positive pleasant impact. :xl:
