Well, there's one more 850W SH to be cleaned and painted over the next week or so. All the rest of the storage heaters are in place and charge times are staggered between 21.30 and 22.30 for start up. We are going to succeed in making it through Winter 22 with no reliance on gas. Even more so when the LF280'S are in place and charging.
I'll get the induction hob fitted next week.

Years ago I repainted a couple of them where the paint had gone a bit yellow with ordinary rattle cans of white paint. Smelled a bit the first time they were used, but the case of these things doesn't get any hotter than a car parked in the sun, so I don't think they need anything special.
25 off 250W Perlight solar panels, installed 2014, with a 6kW PowerOne inverter, about 6,000kWh/year generated
6 off Pylontech US3000C batteries, with a Sofar ME3000SP inverter

Exactly, any old paint will do. Poundshop white rattle cans work well. How goes the battery build Caesium? I am finished now until they arrive at the

My personal fave's are the 850's, they put out a serious chunk of heat and can easily be solar charged without touching grid. Blowy and cold up here so tonight at 21.30 look for the lights dimming in the North!

Yes I've been following your prebuild with interest Have to say I'm not putting quite as many hours into mine - I've knocked up the compression using a bit of ply and threaded rod, and soldered some blade fuse holders and croc clips onto my BMS.. and I think thats about it
I think I'll literally just stack them on top of each other once they're held together by my ply/rods. Just keeping it simple. I have a couple more leads+terminals to crimp but that'll be enough to get it all hooked up.. My setup is rather simpler than yours though, I'll just be paralleling off the Pylontech stack using the spare pos and neg terminals. I figure the pos will go through a breaker & 100A fuse, then to the pos of the new stack, and the neg will be a straight through connection back to the neg of the Pylons. I don't have other breakers to isolate it for a separate inverter or anything, as I don't have one.. and I've spent enough money for this month
Will get a bunch of pics up once the cells are here

Ran the lot up incl the EV at 4.5kW. HWT charging as is battery stack. All storage heaters on and we are....
Downstairs is sitting at 20.2 degs with upstairs at 18.3 degs. Will be interesting to hear SWMBO reaction tomorrow, rather interested myself.

Interesting to see that snow has been falling at Cairngorm Top Station:
