I can't fail to benefit as I use zero during the saving slot. It could well be a more then £2.25 per KWh this time, with it being a live one and longer than an hour, he says hopefully.
My house is probably already glowing now on the Police helicopter infra red camera and you know what that means.
Don't smoke too much of it
Mine said I saved 99% and others 100% but I used 27 kWh during the special time at 39.5p a kWh and I received just over £8 in points.
I am 99.9% off grid because the other 0.1% seems to be my inverter using 1p an hour for incoming voltage checking and failover, during the summer I will just switch off the incoming completely as long as my battery gets charged during the day and maybe install a breaker controlled by the onboard relay to turn it on just in case.
You should have got about £20, circa 16,000 Octopoints.
Are you sure you got the 3 hour in day adjustment window right, its not quite the 3 hours before, it starts 4 hours before the savings session starts and finishing 1 hour before the saving session starts.
OK ignore me completely, I seemed to have been mixing up my 13th and 21st data, so it looks like I actually made a few ££ not lost any, 21st hardly used any adjustment time because battery was full and water was hot so immersion wasn't on long

Are they required to do all 12 of the sessions that were originally planned?
I believe so, Octopus says a min of 12. Its nominally 2 sessions per month (Nov to Mar) plus 2 onboarding sessions in the first month.
Octopus have had 11 so far but none in March yet, so its either 1 or 2 to go.
Then there will be another scheme, but me thinks the formula might change.
From Octopus FAQs, "How many Saving Sessions will there be ?
It’s hard to say for sure - the total number will depend on how much help the electrical grid needs.
There'll be at least 12 Saving Sessions this winter (but likely many more), and they'll be between one and four hours long.
Based on the grid’s performance in previous years, we’re expecting around 1 or 2 Sessions per week (so around 25 in total) lasting up to 4 hours each.
It’s likely that they’ll run more often in January, when the electrical grid is usually under most pressure."
