Did anyone get a notification yesterday after opting in to confirm they had?

I opted in... Picked a name for the region. But didn't receive any confirmation.

No, I don't think anyone did by the looks on the facebook group.

Apart from the initial message on the webform saying "your in".

Bids are in and Octopus was rejected at 70p / kWh.

Most where accepted around the 40p to 50p / kWh range, anything over around 57p / kWh was rejected.

It's interesting that some 40p were rejected yet higher ones were accepted.

Different time periods, all 40p bids were rejected for the 6pm to 7pm slots but were accepted (and higher bids) for the 4pm to 6pm slots. In fact all bids for the 6pm to 7pm slots were rejected. The 6pm to 7pm slots had a lower volume requirement.

Probably the final DFS scheduled today for a while as the wind is coming back. A shorter one from 4pm till 6pm and the required volume is much lower for the 5pm to 6pm slot as the wind will be increasing. The LoLP is not too bad so I reckon bids need to be low 20p to 30p / kWh at best.

Eyes down around 12:15 when the bids usually come in, would be nice to end the week with a second session. :xx:

Bids have come in early today but unfortunately ALL bids from everyone were rejected. Octopus had bid 30p / kWh and even the lowest at 23.5p / kWh was no go.

I cant see another one now this side of Xmas and with the low demands over the festive period, probably have to wait till the new year for another chance.
