Outgoing Octopus 12M Fixed - Renewal

My Outgoing Octopus 12M Fixed term is due to expire in Feb 2024. Does anyone have experience of what happens then?

Is it auto-renewed by Octopus or do I have to contact them?

The detailed tariff description does state 'Outgoing Octopus 12M Fixed May 2019', so it looks like it has been around at the same rate for some time.

Just hoping the 15 p rate does not drop.

I switched to "fixed 15 " in May23 with Eco7 this dropped to 8p when I went to Go in Sept but went back up to 15p again when I managed to migrate on to IOG in October

With the tariff starting in 2019, I did expect someone to have gone through a renewal already.

The Octopus Panel Power export tariff for businesses is also 15p/kWh. Guess it’s the standard rate for the moment

The Feb 2024 expiry has just rolled over to Feb 2025, still at 15p/kWh, so all good.

I did phone Octopus a few days ago about a billing issue, and mentioned the Fixed Export tariff. They said nothing to do, it will rollover, though there was mention of a change later in the year. May be with the price cap predicted to drop so much on 1/7/24 they will be adjusting the export tariff paid for new customers and renewals. Just guessing though.
