Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
A few all time PB's have fallen yesterday (Monday) at Nowty Towers. (nowtyPB) 1) PB of home solar PV generation of 77kWh, it was not wall to wall sunshine either so maybe 85kWh might be possible in late May. 2) PB of 62 kWh home exported on Octopus Outgoing (OO). 3) PB of combine...

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?
I see tax implications being mentioned here a few times. I thought it would only be a problem if you were not consuming the amount being produced by the ripple project i.e if you bought 6999 kW and consumed 7000 then nothing is spare and it goes towards your bill. I thought the problems occur when ...

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?
Ditto mine will only go to 100% I was assuming openspaceman had no earlier holdings in previous ripple projects. If you have holdings in earlier projects then you cannot go over 7000kWh (maybe even 6999) as the sum across all projects before the warning of evidence required appears. There is also a...

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?
Yes, I increased my GF holding 3 times before it sold out, and the third time including having my usage agreed above 7000kWh with a load of excuses, heat pump, EV, etc.

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?
I recall from previous offers you can sometimes get the warning with it showing exactly 7000kWh because of the hidden decimal point figures so I would go with 6999 kWh to be safe. You actually buy your shares in milliwatts or watts to 3 decimal places.
